DAY ONE PHOTOS - July 19 - COE Round One

Team Germany Super Subs, Alyssa and Isabella, relaxing after the  Germans slam dunked a second win to lead Group A.

Germany Coach Paulo caught possibly tampering with players from other nations "under a watchful eye".

CHECK BACK LATER TUESDAY FOR NEWS REPORTS FROM MONDAY’S COE WORLD CUP.

DAY TWO PHOTOS -- July 20 -- COE World Cup Round Two

Coach John took over the reigns for Iceland in the 2nd round due to Coach Tom’s absence.  Iceland jumped to top of the tables in their new uniforms which featured "ice cubes" (think about it).

Singapore may have been the best sports thus far without missing a post game handshake.  But the team must be in identity crisis as they boast the Turkish flag on their national team jerseys...?

DAY THREE PHOTOS (Wednesday)

Brazil dominated action on Wednesday night and had reason to "bust a pose" for the cameras.  The stylish Brazilians know that nothing less than the trophy will do for their tradition rich nation.

Singapore national press found it best to photo their national team from the backside.  This eliminates confusion caused by the Turkish flag emblem on the jerseys front side.

Celebrations will be ON for Thursday night’s Finals.  Seen here Dutch Coaching Staff, Kara and Hana celebrate the goal that sealed a first place night in group A for the Dutch.

Congo, seemed dead in the water on Monday and Tuesday, but an undefeated third round revitalized the Congoan Nation.  Congo now sits second in the Group B pool in position for a good seed headed to the finals.

DAY FOUR COE PHOTOS: "THE FINAL ROUND" (Thursday, July 22nd)

Penalties! The Dutch look on as their teammate gets ready to attempt the first penalty in the Quarterfinal match up w/ the USA. Drama, suspense, and heartbreak or pure joy!

Antiguan national team entered it’s first ever COE World Cup Tournament and almost made a splash. Some questions about recruitment of players left FIFA and Antigua scratching heads.

Team USA began as a defensive machine pitching 4 straight shutouts. Although the tournament didn’t go as hoped, coach Christin won the award for best uniforms!

Brazil was brash and confident and backed up their words by winning the 2010 COE World Cup!  The team is seen here just moments after claiming the trophy by defeating Iceland in the final!

It’s not always easy after a tough loss, but sportsmanship was the order of the day after every match.  Players from USA and Holland shake hands after the quarterfinal match.

3 of the 4 quarterfinal matches went to penalties. Here Team USA seems a bit disheartened after missing an attempt in the penalty shootout. USA went out of the event but not after a valiant effort and played most of the tournament with a short roster.
