KYLE CUSSEN, DANIEL GADDIS, Elected to WSA Board

WINNINGEST COLLEGE COACH AND
LONG TIME COMMUNITY SOCCER ADVOCATE JOIN WSA BOARD

The "WSA Board", technically the WSA Executive Council, has added Kyle Cussen and Daniel Gaddis.  Both were unanimously elected to the WSA Board this past November, after being nominated this past summer.

It was only the second convening of a quorum for WSA''s General Membership, since COVID, and the election was swift and unanimous.  All told the vote included over 75 votes FOR, and no opposed, to approving both gentlemen to join WSA's Board, which had two vacancies that had existed since "shelter-in-place" in 2020 had prohibited regular in-person business meetings.

Cussen and Gaddis join current WSA Board Members, Josh Eardley (WSA President), Jeremy Combs (VP of Ops), Candy Breck (Secretary).

The first Executive Council meeting is scheduled during the WSA Leadership Summit, Jan 14-15, 2023.

WSA is excited to welcome Mr Cussen and Mr Gaddis and their families to the WSA Leadership team.  Both long time community soccer advocates bring a wealth of talent, perspective, insight, and passion.

WSA Executive Director, Roger Bush, was excited about the additions. "Mr Gaddis has carried out an almost inexplicable service to the 03 and 07 girls programs at WSA.  He manages multiple teams, coaches, players, and families, and is an all-star advocate for the players, the girls, who currently and formerly participated in those programs.  His soccer knowledge is helpful, his commitment unique, and his leadership character top-tier," reports Bush.

"Coach Cussen.  This is like finding gold.  Coach Cussen's coaching leadership, results, expertise, experience, and impact in the Oklahoma Soccer Community is already beyond a lifetime.  I can't be more thrilled to work with, and add an advocate for our WSA families, of someone I have always respected and admired," Bush added about Cussen.

"I am excited to witness the leadership impact these two will have within our organization, and also for Oklahoma soccer.  We have a great platform to help transform the game, and we've just enhanced the power of the impact with these two distinguished leaders.  It's an incredible board with these two, and Mrs Breck, Mr Combs, and Mr Eardley, to serve our community," reported Bush.

The Side congratulates and welcomes Mr. Daniel Gaddis, and Mr Kyle Cussen to the Leadership Team and Leadership Family at The Side.
