PARKER GOINS JOINS WSA COACHING STAFF
Current NWSL Player, Former US Womens Youth National Team

Parker Goins, currently playing for NWSL Racing Louisville, has joined the WSA Coaching Staff for 2022-2023.  

Goins will begin assisting teams in the WSA Girls program immediately, with her first session appearance this week. Kerry Shubert, who formerly coached Parker at the club level, is excited to add his former player to The Side's staff.

"I had the honor of coaching Parker in club soccer. She was one of the most talented and natural goal scorers I've ever seen. Her accomplishments make her one of the best players to ever play in Tulsa. Parker has a bright future in coaching and I'm very excited for our players to learn from her. Her experiences in youth soccer are unmatched and she can give our players advice and knowledge on what it takes to reach the top level in women's soccer," stated Shubert. 

Parker who helped lead her local Union HS team to multiple state titles, and was a prep All-American, then landed at Arkansas where she helped the Razorbacks contend perennially for SEC titles.  She was added to the prestigious Mac Herman Award watch list in 2021 and was a semifinalist for that award recognizing college soccer's top female player.  She was then drafted by Racing Louisville this past year, and made her professional debut on April 24, 2022 vs Houston Dash. 

"I'm super excited and grateful for this opportunity to coach.  It's always been a dream of mine and I can't wait to share my experience with these players," reported Goins.

Goins will assist training players and teams in the WSA Girls program during her offseason and down time from playing professional soccer with Racing Louisville.  

"I've been lucky enough to learn from some of the best coaches at all levels so I hope to pass my knowledge onto the next generation of players," Goins added.

WSA is excited to have such a decorated player, currently pursuing the youth soccer dream for female players in U.S. to mentor, advise, and instruct our next generation of athletes.

Coach Shubert added, "Parker is offering Private training as well. Training with Parker would be great for our players wanting to improve their skills."
