Thank you again for participating in the 2024 WSA Cup.  We appreciate your friendship, goodwill, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

The following will present a process for participating teams regarding Sunday's cancelation in 3 areas:

DECLARATION OF CHAMPIONS & AWARDS 

• Awards will be available for pick up at the West Bank Complex Ken Lovelee Clubhouse Tuesday, April 30, 5:30 - 7:00 PM
• Teams residing more than 20 miles from the Downtown Tulsa area will have awards shipped - COMPLETE THE WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM.

OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY POSTPONED FINAL

• Teams declared co-champions who wish to play a final submit via the same WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS & PROCESS 

• Teams can declare their intent for refund on the same WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM. 
  

ONCE REVIEWING THE INFORMATION below you can submit ONE WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM PER TEAM. 

Any team wishing to make a contribution to the Kinsey Wright Beloved Fund may do so via this link: KW BELOVED FUND.

DECLARATION OF CHAMPIONS & AWARDS

AWARDS can be picked up at the West Bank Ken Lovelee Clubhouse (3601 S Elwood Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107) on TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 6-730 PM. 

If you cannot pick up awards at that time we will coordinate further pick up opportunities for your team at the West Bank Sports Complex Ken Lovelee Clubhouse.

We will ship awards (indiv medals) to teams residing more than 20 miles outside of the Downtown Tulsa area.   Please provide your shipping address in the WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM.

WSA CUP COMMITTEE DECLARATION OF CHAMPIONS & RUNNERS-UP
The following metrics were used: Win-Loss Record, Opponent's Played, Common Opponent's Played, Head-To Head Competition, Probability of Future Opponents, Score of Current Games.

OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY POSTPONED FINAL

Teams who are declared Co-Champions, have the opportunity to still schedule a Final.

The WSA Cup committee encourages teams to coordinate a date & time for this between the co-champion teams, and to coordinate the fields with WSA Cup's Committee.  

WSA Cup will make sure awards are present, help schedule referees, and pay the referee fees for the Final.  

Teams are NOT required to play the FINAL.

Teams opting to not play the final will not receive the one-game refund (see below).  They will still be declared co-champions and receive awards. 

If you opt to play the FINAL but the opponent does not opt to play the FINAL then your team will receive the one-game refund, and you will still be declared co-champions and receive awards. 

If the FINAL is not played both teams will remain declared CO-CHAMPIONS.

Complete the WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM (one per team) to submit your intention to play a Final.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS & PROCESS

 

WSA CUP REFUND PROCESS

Teams eligible for a one-game equivalent refund, are those who played two (2) games at WSA Cup, and did not get to play their third game due to Sunday’s cancelation.  The one-game equivalent metric was determined using referee fees and facility usage that might be able to be recovered by WSA Cup 24 due to the cancelation.

Teams who play the Final will not be eligible for the one-game equivalent refund.
Teams who have a balance due on their application fee are not eligible for a refund.
Teams who opted out of a Final are not eligible for a one-game equivalent refund. 

REFUND PROCESS & OPTIONS

1) DECLARE INTENT: Teams will declare their intent in via the WSA CUP 2024 PROCESS FORM, of their refund preference.

REFUND OPTIONS
Deadline to submit intent for refund is FRIDAY, MAY 3, 5 PM 

A)    Receive a one-game equivalent refund to be executed within 8-10 days on your team’s payment method within the TGS Software.

B)    Choose a Voucher to the next WSA Soccer Event: Midwest Labor Day Invitational. This will be emailed and must be applied by July 1.  The voucher will be nearly 200% of the refund value.  

C)    Allocate Refund to the Kinsey Wright Beloved Fund.  WSA will transfer your refund to the KW Beloved Fund.   This is our tournament committee’s preference.

D)   Elect to not receive a refund. This is appreciated by WSA Cup.

2) REFUND WILL BE EXECUTED BY WSA CUP COMMITTEE BASED ON THIS FORM within 8-10 days.
